Paleo/Keto Greek Cabbage with Bacon


  • 3 Strips of bacon
  • 1 Medium head of cabbage chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Greek seasoning
  • 1 c. Chopped onion
  • ½ c. Low sodium chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Cut the bacon into pieces, and saute in a skillet over medium high heat until lightly crispy.
  • Add 1 cup of chopped onions to the skillet with the bacon, and saute until tender and translucent.
  • Mix the chopped cabbage into the onion and bacon mixture in the skillet.
  • Let the mixture cook down a bit, and then add in pepper to taste and 1 tablespoon of greek seasoning.
  • Pour in ½ c. of low sodium chicken broth. Continue to cook the cabbage over medium heat until it is tender, and you have reached your desired level of doneness.
  • Stir in enough salt to taste, and then serve garnished with a squeeze of fresh lemon if desired.
