Ingredients
Cooking spray
1pound93% lean ground turkey
1TbspItalian seasoning
9ouncesoven-ready lasagna noodles
32ounceslow-fat cottage cheese
40ouncesmarinara saucemore if desired
Instructions
Heat a pan and spray with cooking spray. Add ground turkey and season with Italian seasoning as it cooks. Cook until browned and set aside.
Blend the cottage cheese in a blender or food processor until smooth.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce over the bottom of the slow cooker.
Layer 3–4 oven-ready noodles on top, breaking them to fit as needed.
Top with about 1 cup of cottage cheese and ⅓ of the cooked ground turkey.
Add 1 cup sauce over the top (use more if you like it saucy).
Repeat these layers (noodles, cottage cheese, turkey, sauce) two more times.
Finish with a final layer of marinara sauce on top.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, until bubbly and noodles are tender.
Let sit for 10–15 minutes before serving for easiest slicing.
