Are Your Kids Stressed?
Kids Today Are Stressed Out at Record Levels. How Are Yours Doing?
If you think your kids are doing okay, you might want to check again.
This article from Psychology Today says that the average high school student today has the same level of anxiety as the typical psychiatric patient in the 1950s.
While 20% of children report that they “worry a lot”, only 3% of parents think this is true. (source)
Our culture is moving at a faster pace than ever before, and our children are feeling the effects.
How are YOU doing? If a parent is anxious or stressed, a child is likely to experience developmental trauma from living with a parent who is experiencing a difficult life situation such as depression, domestic violence, or the effects of poverty.

Hope for our Stressed out Kids
There is hope! Isaiah tells us:
Say to those who have an anxious heart,
“Be strong; fear not!
Behold, your God
will come with vengeance,
with the recompense of God.
He will come and save you.”Isaiah 35:4-7
God brings healing to our anxious hearts. God commands us to be strong and not to fear. He will save us.
