Cherry Almond Parfait Shots is one of the most simple shot-glass desserts to make, and pretty to present. The almond flavor wasn’t especially strong. Next time I would add a few extra drops of almond extract, a few chopped almonds on top, or both. If you prefer a more mild flavor, keep the recipe as-is.
We served these at our recent graduation and confirmation Shot Glass Mini-Servings party.

We filled a gallon Ziploc bag with the pudding, let it set for about 30 minutes, then snipped a corner and piped it into the shot glasses.
Cherry Almond Parfait Shot Glasses
Ingredients
- 1 small box vanilla pudding mix
- Cold milk for pudding
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding according to the directions on the box. Let the pudding thicken just slightly in the refrigerator. In a separate bowl, combine the cherry pie filling and the almond extract. Fill each shot glass with a layer of pudding and a layer of the cherry mixture. Before serving, top with graham cracker crumbs.
