Products & Orders
Products: Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about The Holy Mess Orders
Help for orders, PDFs, printables, downloads, Send Owl, and more.
Go to The Holy Mess shop. Click the “Buy now” button. Proceed with checkout. If you have trouble ordering, email us at sara@theholymess.com.
We are sorry to hear you are having trouble accessing your order download. The emails come from a company called Send Owl and occasionally get stuck in your spam folder.
You can use this link to recover your order as many times as you’d like.
Please note that if you have ordered items from The Holy Mess previously, you will receive those, too.
Your order should arrive in your inbox in about one hour. If you don’t receive it, use this link to access your order.
All products from The Holy Mess are digital. Nothing will be mailed to you.
Unfortunately, we do not offer printing services at this time. If you don’t have a printer, we recommend the following:
Download the product and use it from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Then, write your journal or in a notebook.
– Print at your local library.
– Print from an office supply store such as Office Max or Office Depot. These are just a few dollars, can be spiral bound, and you have the option to pick it up at the store or have it delivered to your home.
Yes, you can create a payment plan through Klarna.
Klarna manages payment plans for any purchase over $10 and gives you the option to:
– Split your purchase into four payments (interest-free), paid every two weeks.
– Shop now, pay later by getting the product today, and pay in 30 days.
– Pay instantly and receive reward credits through Klarna.
– Create your payment plan.
Payments with Klarna can be made with a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or bank transfer. No credit card is required, and payments do not affect your credit score.
Check out this video to learn how to turn a product into a workbook that you can pick up or receive as a shipment.
Think of a digital file like a paper report stored in a filing cabinet. When you download your order, save it to your computer, like sticking a paper file in a filing cabinet.
The best way to keep track of your download is to put it into a folder. The folder has a name on your computer (filing cabinet).
Create or note the name on the folder your download goes into when you save it. To find your file again, go to the folder with that name on it.
There is no one right way to create a file system for your computer. Use file names that make sense to you.
Because each computer is different, we can’t tell you exactly how to find a file on your computer.
If you are using a smartphone or tablet, save the files to an app such as Pocket or Evernote. The file will be found inside the app.
You may download the product as many times as you need. Once you have downloaded your order, you can use it repeatedly from your device.
Absolutely! Email us at sara@theholymess.com, and we will get back to you soon.
Because of our products’ digital nature, we rarely issue refunds. Please contact us before purchasing if you have questions about a product and whether it fits you.
Yes. We offer payment with Paypal and Klarna, which allow a direct withdrawal from your bank account.
Please contact us at sara@theholymess.com with your request.
We offer 100+ free items and graciously distribute no-pay content on our websites, videos, and social media. However, we also have many expenses, including staff salaries, site hosting, and paid tools needed to operate programs. Income from products and group experiences make this possible. Thank you for being supportive.

Weight Loss – Common Questions we get asked

Click here for more helpful information about binge eating, including a helpful printable guide.
Weight loss isn’t easy in today’s world. For those of us with genetic tendencies to be drawn to food, our current menu of hyper-palatable, ultra-processed foods makes it easy to quickly consume large amounts of calories. Click here to learn more about how to combat this challenging situation with the knowledge of calorie density.
A good starting place for weight loss is to keep a food log for three days. This can be done on paper or an app. Write down the amount of food you ate and the portion. Don’t try to change anything yet. Just track what you usually eat.
Then, calculate the calories of what you ate each day with an app such as My Fitness Pal or a Google search. You’ll quickly see patterns and areas of concern so you can determine your next steps.
I recommend using the Holy Mess 3 Day Diet to kick-start your weight loss.
Use our handy calorie calculator or an app such as My Fitness Pal to determine your daily calorie needs.
There’s no one diet plan or food program that works for everyone. Find the program that best fits your lifestyle and personal needs. Weight loss comes from eating fewer calories than you burn, so make sure reducing calories is a key strategy of any plan you choose. (Simply choosing “clean” foods does not necessarily lead to weight loss.)
Start by contacting your insurance and asking which mental health providers your plan covers. If you need a Christian therapist in your area, contact your pastor. For food issues, I recommend a therapist through NEDA—Get Help—National Eating Disorders Association.

Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers: Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
Please note that we are not affiliated with Weight Watchers We recommend contacting the company directly at 1(800) 651-6000 or through the chat feature on the WW app. Here are answers from The Holy Mess to questions we often receive about Weight Watchers.
This is a personal decision, and there are no right or wrong answers. I found the points system flexible and enjoyable. If that sounds like something that would be helpful for you, give it a try.
No. The specific points for foods or the amount of points you need to eat per day is determined by Weight Watchers and only available for those who a current members in their program.
Check out this article with Weight Watchers alternatives. Many people enjoy using the app Healthie, which offers WW-type systems, including previous WW plans.

We always recommend you consult your doctor or another medical professional to determine your needs. Our meal plans are meant for the average woman who wants to lose weight moderately and healthily. While we do our best to provide modifications, you may need to make further adjustments for your unique body.
Every meal plan has a page with links to current Weight Watchers points, which we update regularly to ensure accuracy. Because the WW program changes every two years, the WW points are not in the printed materials.
