Thank you.
Your task is vastly, vitality important yet rarely do you receive words of appreciation.
You aren’t working for the thank you or recognition, but still, it’s normal to get weary.
May I stand in the gap today and offer you a few words of gratitude?
Thank you so much for your service to others.
Thank you for caring. Thank you for caring for the young, the old, the sick, the hurting, the fragile, the abused, the abusers, and the dying. Thank you for doing this work for those of us who cannot or will not.
When you work ridiculous hours, get spit on, hit, clean up poop, feed people, push papers, make endless phone calls, or care for those who have no voice, we thank you.
When you give to those who throw your loving acts back in your face, we thank you.
When you give to those who will not remember your kindness, we thank you.
When you know your reward is in heaven, but oh, it’s hard in the here and now, we thank you.
Thank you for all you do. Your work has value. Your work is seen. We appreciate you.
If you know someone else who also deserves these words of appreciation, would you please forward this message to them?
