Thanks for reading, Janett! Your comment made my night! I’m thrilled to hear the posts are helping both your parenting and your faith walk. God’s blessings and I look forward to future comments and discussion. How old are your kids?

Hi Sarah,
My family is large and loud!
My kids are 9(girl), 7.5(girl), 5(boy) and my step-daughter who just turned 18. Our struggles are with our oldest, she had a very rough past with her mother’s troubles and our 7.5 daughter has AD/HD and sensory processing issues. (From the bit of your blog I have read you seem to understand special needs very well and with great compassion and strength. I admire you for that.) My husband and I both love your idea for a “special” spot. We have a small condo so trying to figure out 3 spots on the main floor is proving challenging, but having that routine from the car to a chair in the living room is taming the chaos!
I myself have been fighting undiagnosed food allergies for 5 years now. This last year has seen major diet changes and slow healing but I am back on my feet again. I read through your posts on you weight lose and those have inspired me these past few weeks. (I need to loose about 60lbs) Sometimes when I didn’t have the energy or felt ill I would remind myself “Sarah did this, I can do this too, God helped her and He is helping me too!” and then we go for a small hike or just a loop around the block, or go play tag at the park.
So a big thank you form my family to yours, and many prayers of blessing are being prayed from me.

God bless you for the work you are doing in leading and guiding your family, Mama! Good for you for all you are doing in taking care of yourself, too. This is SO important and will come back to bless your family 100 times over.
