How to be Absolutely Beautiful Today

You’ve met her, haven’t you?

The gorgeous woman who sparkles when she walks into a room? (Click here to read a description of her.) She shines with confidence. She’s outgoing without being brash. She has an inner glow of confidence. She’s warm and compassionate yet doesn’t take on too much of other peoples’ problems.

She knows her value as God’s child and her place in His kingdom.

Oh, to be her! Do you ever feel as if, yes, I did have that once. I can remember back to a time I felt like that. (Or, try watching this video for an idea of how to feel more beautiful in 6 minutes.)

It’s not that we have this beauty and then lose it. We simply lose our way for a time. We are created — every single one of us — to be beautiful. We lose our way when we place our trust in ourselves instead of keeping our focus on God.

We are most beautiful when we allow his light to shine through us.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:16
