Step 1 – Mix the Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 350โ (175โ). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.
Peel the overripe bananas and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash them until smooth using a fork or potato masher.
Stir in the old-fashioned oats until well combined. If you’re adding any optional ingredients like cinnamon, vanilla extract, or chocolate chips, mix them in now.
Step 2 – Bake the Cookies
Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, making 12 cookies. Flatten them slightly with the back of the spoon, as they won’t spread much during baking.
Bake in the oven forย 15 minutes or until the cookies are firm and lightly golden.
Remove the cookies from the oven. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
I add cinnamon, vanilla and 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips as optional add-ins. They come out to 2 WW points each and are very yummy. I also cooked them an extra 5 min. – Debbie W.

Ingredients
- 2 bananas over-ripe
- 1 cup oatmeal old-fashioned
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350โ. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
- Peel and mash bananas.
- Mix in oats. Add optional ingredients if using.
- Use a cookie scoop or spoon to form into twelve rounds of about 1ยฝ inches each. Flatten slightly if you desire more of a cookie shape. (Cookies do not spread when baking.)
- Bake for 15 minutes or until cookies are firm but not overdone. Allow to cool, then enjoy.
