Strongholds are used for protection. You might have used a substance (for me, that’s food), a behavior, or an unhealthy habit at one time to help you ease stress or fear, and you were doing the best you could at the time, but now it’s become a prison that keeps you trapped.

It’s helpful to look back on past breakthroughs – moments when God made a way, carried you through, or gave clarity when things felt dark. Remembering those victories builds your faith for what He will do next. This is what I call a slow miracle.
