How to Make a Thanksgiving Memories Tablecloth
Purchase or create a tablecloth for your Thanksgiving table. Every year, everyone who is in attendance at your table writes on the tablecloth one thing they are thankful to God for from that year.
The Thanksgiving Memories Tablecloth is a DIY tablecloth craft project that fits any ability level. (Even mine.)
Supplies you need:
- New white Tablecloth. Decorate if you choose. I didn’t. You could also use a table runner.
- Sharpies or Fabric Markers. I went with Sharpies since they are cheapier and readily available in plenty of colors. I’ve washed the tablecloth and the colors didn’t fade or run, although there are a few stains that didn’t come out, and I didn’t try too hard to get them out for fear it might fade the words also. I figure the stains adds to the character. Use a different colored marker each year.

I did the same thing for my daughter’s birthdays. Each year a different color and everyone who attended would sign their greetings. THEN, my mother would embroider the writing! This has been a wonderful keepsake!

What an awesome tradition, I love it! There’s only three of us here for Thanksgiving, but I’m seriously considering this for this year. It will be something to have and look back on. Thanks for linking up with Thankful Thursdays.
