This Instant Pot White Chicken Chili recipe as a delicious alternative to classic tomato-based chili. This healthy chili recipe is perfect for those following the Weight Watchers program (and anyone who wants to lose weight) since it is low in points.
Fast Instant Pot Turkey Chili
This is a dump and go Instant Pot recipe, which means there’s really just one step – put everything in the IP and press start.
This recipe is especially easy because it uses pre-cooked turkey breast, making it a great option after Thanksgiving or anytime you have already cooked chicken or turkey breast to use.
One of my other favorite uses for cooked turkey is this healthy turkey noodle soup that has incredibly flavor.
If you don’t have chopped turkey breast, chicken breasts works just as well. A quick hack is to use the breast from a store-cooked rotisserie chicken to really make this recipe fast and easy.
Make Chili in the Instant Pot
Chili is especially good in the Instant Pot because pressure cooking locks in the flavor. Plus, instead of hours simmering on the stove top, you’ll get the same delicious chili in a fraction of the time.
You can even make chili in the summer in your Instant Pot without heating the whole kitchen.

Instant Pot White Turkey Chili Recipe – Step by Step Instructions with Photos
Here’s how to make a healthy pressure cooker turkey chili in just 3 easy steps.
Step 1 – Combine all ingredients in Instant Pot inner pot.
This is a healthy dump dinner that couldn’t be easier. We’re going to dump in all the ingredients and press start. That’s it!

Be sure to use mild green chilis if you don’t want too much spice.
Seal the Instant Pot lid and press start.
If you are cooking this recipe on the stove, pour all ingredients into a large soup pot and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes.
Step 2 – Close the instant pot lid and turn pressure valve to seal. Cook on manual high pressure for 12 minutes.
You are ready now to cook.
Step 3 – Serve and Enjoy!
Once chili is done cooking, open lid with quick release and serve.
Instant Pot White Turkey Chili
Ingredients
- 2 cups turkey breast cooked, chopped
- ½ white onion chopped
- 45 ounce white beans (3) 15 ounce cans, drained and rinsed
- 8 ounce diced green chilis 4 ounce can (2)
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in Instant Pot inner pot.
- Close the instant pot lid and turn pressure valve to seal. Cook on manual high pressure for 12 minutes.
- Allow for a quick pressure.
- Makes 8 servings.

How do you make chili thicker?
To thicken it quickly use flour or corn starch, but don’t add it directly to the chili (If you do, the flour will clump and you’ll spend the next couple of hours trying to de-clump the clumps). In a bowl, add a tablespoon or two of flour and a cup of hot liquid from the chili. Whisk both until well combined. (For Weight Watchers members, keep in mind this adds additional points.)
